Besides the orchestras, some small groups of musicians have come together to play in an ensemble. These ensembles usually consist of about 4-7 members. Once a year, ensembles have the opportunity to perform at an ensemble concert. Below you can read more about the specific quadrivium ensembles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to lighten up your event with just a touch of classical music, ESMG Quadrivium has the solution for you. Our several ensembles are available for hire for conferences, receptions, parties and anything else that requires beautiful music to be played. Email to <\/em>ensembles@esmgquadrivium.nl<\/a> to see if we can do anything for you<\/em>. Please report an event at least one month in advance due to the availability of our ensembles.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BaroQue<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The BaroQue ensemble is Quadrivium\u2019s ensemble that is specialized in playing and performing baroque music. The ensemble was formed when different players in the orchestra realized they had a common interest to play baroque music. The baroque ensemble consists of a core group of players however, often guest players are invited to play along for a concert since often extra instruments are required to play the baroque style pieces. Previous performances included works by Rebel, Telemann and Dall\u2019Abaco.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Qhords<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Hello! We are the Qhords, one of the vocal ensembles of ESMG Quadrivium. Our ensemble consists of four musicians, Winston (B), Django (T), Katrien (A\/mS) and Jeannette (S). We started out as a whimsical experiment to see what close harmony would sound like with two men and two women. We liked it so much that we decided to name ourselves after the singers of Sh Boom: The Chords, but with the trademark Q. Ever since, we have been broadening our horizons beyond close harmony and we do not shy away from instrumental musical either. We hope we can share our joy in making music with you one day!<\/p>\n<\/div>

Vokoladies<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The Vokoladies is an all-female vocal ensemble comprised of six distinct voices. The ensemble first performed together during an ensemble day organised by ESMG Quadrivium, where they sang several pieces by the Chordettes. Having thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the ensemble has continued to rehearse together ever since, expanding their increasingly varied repertoire.
