The Dutch Physics Association celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. For that reason, Quadrivium was asked to perform a music piece that was written especially for this occasion. On December the first, the piece, called Fysica, will be performed at the lecture that they will be giving in collaboration with Studium Generale Eindhoven.
Fysica has been composed by the young composer Florian van der Reijden and it was inspired by physics. As will be explained during the lecture, several physical phenomena (including the Doppler effect) were incorporated into the piece.
The concert is free to attend by everyone, but it does require a reservation via Studium Generale. Students can earn use credits for attending the lecture.
